The T&RA January Newsletter

Dear Members,

Firstly, happy New Year from all of us at the T&RA. We hope you were able to have a nice break over the Christmas period. As you will be aware this lockdown has seen the closure of all Real Tennis and Rackets facilities throughout the UK. The T&RA will continue to work with other National Governing Bodies through this latest lockdown period and also consider the best ways to rebuild the games once the situation improves. These are very difficult times and we all have our part to play to reduce the rate of infection across the country.

It is not all doom and gloom however as we are working really hard to reorganise the fixtures calendar to reschedule some of the events to be played after Easter. We will continue to update the website and social media regularly with the latest news.

The Sports Minister, Nigel Huddleston has said: Throughout this pandemic, we have placed the importance of sport and physical activity at the heart of our agenda. I can assure families that the reopening of gyms and sports facilities will be a priority when the public health situation allows.
