Local players Charlie Danby took on Chris Snell, Charlie proving too strong 6/2 6/0.

Simon Edmund had a great battle against Colin Sprott, the only match to go the full three sets, with Simon prevailing 1/6 6/3 6/4.

Semi-finals, Nick Warner moved through to the final with a walkover as the number 2 seed Roman Krznaric had to withdraw.

Meanwhile the number 1 seed and holder of the John Ward Trophy, Peter Wright, played well and was too strong for Charlie Danby, winning 6/0 6/2.
