Extension of date for bidding for WC 2023
The IRTPA is delighted to announce that the bidding process for the World Championship’s Final Eliminator in 2023 is now open; all clubs are invited to tender for the right to host this event.
Background Information
It is very much the desire of the International World Championship Committee (IWCC) comprising the IRTPA and the world’s 4 National Associations, to see this event played over the challenge format of the best of 13 sets.
The Final Eliminator affords all clubs the chance to host what is a very exciting event, at a lower financial commitment than the Challenge itself, and most importantly gives supporters the opportunity to see the game being played at the highest level and in a format which is challenging to the players
