Professional Management Training
Congratulation to the five senior professionals - Chris Bray, John Dawes, Dan Jones, Chris Ronaldson and Nick Wood - who have successfully navigated the CPD level 3 Management module.
The process involved working with their respective Club Chairmen and Committees to write and present a 5-year Management Development Plan. Each plan was significantly different, reflecting the diversity of the clubs involved.
The CPD process is designed to provide the vital training when our young professionals first become Assistant Professionals; and then sequential through-career development training, allowing our professionals to further their skill sets and specialise in areas such as Coaching, Marking and Equipment; not forgetting the all-important Club Management.
The T&RA is extremely grateful to Nick Wood and Graham Tomkinson, whose contributions and efforts to establish this programme in 2010 were critical to its genesis and evolution; and also to Chris Bray for maintaining the momentum in recent years.
