In the handicap event George and Brian Hayward, the runners up in Leamington's own Family Tournament, went one better by beating the Davidsons, a
Cambridge pair, 6/5 in the final.
The runners up had won the quarter and semi finals 6/5 but couldn't quite overcome the surprisingly steady local pair.
In the Championship event Tom and Richard Seymour Mead recorded a bloodless victory over Christopher and Marek Stefanowicz.
