Bring Your Kids in for a Free "Go" at Real Tennis This Holiday Season
The upcoming Christmas break is the perfect time to introduce your kids to Real Tennis, and you can do it for FREE thanks to a holiday initiative between the T&RA and the Dedanists' Foundation.
Visiting Santa is fun, but so is playing Real Tennis! That's why the T&RA, in conjunction with the Dedanists’ Foundation, is pleased to announce a new scheme to encourage juniors to take up the game of Real Tennis over the holiday break.
The Dedanists’ Foundation has supported junior tennis for many years through a series of grants to UK Real Tennis clubs and Universities. Both the T&RA and the Dedanists’ Foundation realise that obviously, the long-term survival of our game relies on young people discovering Real Tennis. Therefore, the Dedanists’ Foundation has now teamed up with us and they are sponsoring a new scheme aimed at getting youngsters on court over the coming Christmas school holiday period. This new initiative will be open to newcomers under the age of 18 and will offer a free, one hour “have a go” session at the nearest Real Tennis club signed up to take part.
If you have a youngster who is looking for something interesting to do over the Christmas period, please complete this form and we will give you the contact details for your nearest participating club. If you require any further information please contact the T&RA at firstname.lastname@example.org or the Dedanists’ Foundation Ambassador, Paul Weaver, at email@example.com.
The Dedanists' Foundation is a grant-giving charity (No. 1145526) created with the sole aim of increasing youth involvement in Real Tennis. The game has too few young players and the organisation's aim is to get young people impassioned about the sport and to harness the enthusiasm, knowledge and skills of the game's professionals and its clubs.
