Entries Open for World Masters 2026
Entries are now being welcomed for the Individual Events of the World Amateur Masters, being held in Melbourne 3-11 April. You can also register your interest in playing in the Team Events, which begin 28 March at Ballarat, Hobart, and Sydney.

Individual Championships: 3 - 11 April 2026
Royal Melbourne Tennis Club
The World Amateur Masters Individual Championships will bring together the world’s finest amateur masters players for nine days of thrilling matches, camaraderie, and celebration. Hosted at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Tennis Club, this event promises exceptional tennis, wonderful hospitality, and unforgettable social events.
About the Individual Championships
Open to eligible amateur players across seven age categories – Over 50s, Over 55s, Over 60s, Over 65s, Over 70s, Over 75s, and Over 80s – the Championships feature both Singles and Doubles competitions.
Players may enter up to four events, subject to scheduling practicality at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
Key Dates
- Entries close on 30 January 2026
- Draws and Playing Schedules will be circulated early March 2026
- Welcome Function – 3 April 2026 at RMTC – includes drinks and light food
- Championship Matches – commence 3 April and conclude 11 April 2026
- Presentation Dinner – 11 April 2026, 6:30–11:00pm at The Australian Club (jacket & tie required for men)
Entry Fees
- Player Entry Fee: AUD $460 – includes Welcome Function, snacks during the tournament, Presentation Dinner, and commemorative Masters 2026 tennis shirt
- Match fees: AUD$90 for each singles event and AUD$70 for each Doubles event
- Partners/Guests: Welcome Function – $130 | Presentation Dinner – $240 | All Social Events – $360

- National Associations must submit their team entries by 15 January 2026
- Official Team Practice 28 & 29 March
- Matches played 29 March to 1 April
- Welcome Function at each Club on Saturday 28 March
- Team Presentation Dinner in each host city on Wednesday 1 April
- Travel to Melbourne for the Individual Championships on Thursday 2 April

Visit Romsey Real Tennis Club
Celebrate the return of Real Tennis at the Romsey Real Tennis Club after a 20-year gap.
An invitation to an open day with on-court and off-court events on Sunday 12 April 2026 is extended to all those involved in the World Masters 2026. Chris Ronaldson and Maggie Henderson-Tew have been working with owners David Cowburn and Tara Strahan on re-establishing the real tennis club at Romsey, which is located about 50km north of Melbourne in the Victorian Macedon Ranges.
