BROWN ADVISORY IS DELIGHTED TO BE A KEY SPONSOR OF RACKETS

London 23 Sep 15: Brown Advisory has today announced they will be partnering with the Tennis & Rackets Association as key sponsors of Rackets in the United Kingdom. In an exciting agreement, Brown Advisory will sponsor the British Open Singles and Doubles, together with the National Schools’ Singles and Doubles Championships. Brown Advisory will thus provide meaningful support to this very traditional and highly skilled British and American sport.

The National Schools’ Championships are the pinnacle of racket sport played at leading schools across the country, and the British Opens extend this sponsorship onto the national level. Peter Mallinson, Vice Chairman of Brown Advisory Limited and former Chairman of the Tennis & Rackets Association, commented: “We are thrilled to be supporting one of the most historic and exciting ball games as well as a sport that is flourishing on both sides of the Atlantic”.

Brown Advisory provides investment management services for individuals, families, charities and institutions. The firm is committed to delivering a combination of first-class performance and the highest level of service. Founded in 1993 as an affiliate of Alex. Brown & Sons, a leading U.S. investment bank, Brown Advisory became independent in 1998. In 2008 the Brown Advisory International Business was established with an office in London. The firm’s employee equity ownership, experienced investment professionals, collaborative investment process and solutions-based culture help to make a material difference in the lives of its clients.

The T&RA are confident the future of the game is in safe hands and can plan ahead with the assurance that this sponsorship will further develop the sport at both the youth and senior levels.
