Resting with Peter Luck-Hille: A Memoir takes readers on a journey through the ups and downs of the design, construction and varying viability of Middlesex University Real Tennis court.

Known as a visionary and guardian of Real Tennis, Peter Luck-Hille has dedicated himself to the advancement of the sport through generous donations and the construction of two of just a handful of courts to be built in the last century. He has just released a memoir that’s now available for order.

Delivered with a plain-speaking directness that has become Peter’s signature, this fascinating book takes readers through the ups and downs of the design, construction and varying viability of Middlesex University Real Tennis court, as well as his subsequent involvement in building Wellington Real Tennis court.

The memoir also touches on Peter’s early years as a “poor relation” in a shattered family, his volatile time in Israel, the many hats he’s worn in his professional life, and the importance of his long-standing relationship with his wife, Jill. Peter also shares his passionate thoughts on the current state and sustainability of Real Tennis, making this a can’t-miss read for anyone interested in the history and future of the game.

The cost is £30 + p&p. If you would like to order a copy, please contact your local club Pro or email Peter directly at peterluckhille@gmail.com.
