Scottish Open 2017
The Third ‘Scottish’ went well over the weekend and everyone involved has signed up for 2018.
The food is an established feature of the event and It was Scottish-themed and we had wild Scottish salmon, Lanarkshire strawberries, award-winning MacSweeney’s haggis and Aberdeen Angus beef stew, plus puddings generously laced with Drambuie and whisky.
Pol Roger and Glenfarclas were again the generous sponsors and effusive thanks was paid to them by all involved.
- Maggie Henderson-Tew beat Adam Jeffrey 6/5, in a repeat of last year’s final.
- Maggie Henderson-Tew & Grant Miller retained their 2016 title, defeating Mark Maclure and Alan Moug 8/6
