Silver Racquet 2014

QUALIFYING The Silver Racquet qualifying competition produced a busy day of first class competitive play as 13 players competed for four places in the main event. Adrian Kemp (AJ) travelled from Paris and it was worth the trip as he qualified with a great win over local player Andrew Jameson to set up a meeting in the main event with Tom Seymour Mead who managed to overcome Petworth professional James Law in a tight match.

2011 winner Louis Gordon qualified to the main event with an anxious win over Seacourt’s chairman Paul Weaver to set up a show down with fellow qualifier Neil MacKenzie from Bridport, who also suffered a slight reversal in the second set but managed to hold firm to defeat an impressive Jules Camp.
