Tennis Sponsorship Announcement
The T&RA are delighted to announce the funding for the British Open is secure for the next three years. Working with its closest and most valued supporters, the T&RA and a small number of very generous Tennis Patrons have agreed to contribute towards the prize fund, guaranteeing the event as the most attractive in world Tennis. This funding will also enable the T&RA to continue to support its other tournaments, with a particular emphasis on junior competition, through core funding.
Plans for the 2018 Open are already taking shape following the great success of the 2017 championship. As has been seen in recent years, the tournaments will see the world’s top professionals rubbing shoulders with the leading amateurs.
The T&RA retains its search for a long term corporate sponsor which has traditionally come from within our own community. We would therefore welcome any approach, however informal and discussions would, of course, be entirely confidential.
