The National Inter-Club Handicap Tournament
Moreton Morrell Tennis Court Club invites your Club to participate in the 2016 National Inter Club tournament.
- The tournament will consist of up to 12 Clubs, each team consisting of 3 players – one for singles and a doubles pair

Two competitions will be held over the weekend – one for Singles and one for Doubles

A Club’s ‘team points’ total will be calculated from their results and a cup presented to the winning team

The box matches will be played at Moreton Morrell and Leamington on Saturday. Each team can expect to play 2 matches at Moreton Morrell and one at Leamington. It may be that play will have to extend into the early evening

The knock out rounds will be held at Moreton on Sunday. The finals will take place mid afternoon

All participants must be members of the T&RA

Handicaps will be taken from RTO in the week before the tournament

The maximum handicap for singles is 55 – anyone over that handicap will be allocated a 55 handicap

Doubles handicaps will be used. The combined doubles handicap must be 50 or less (this allows a 46 to play with a 60). Pairs whose combined handicap exceeds 50 will play off 50

To facilitate the smooth running of the weekend, players are requested to keep scheduling requirements to a minimum

For those interested, bookings will be made for a meal at a local restaurant on Saturday night
