Article accompanies release of new documentary in USA

Bailey Pryor of Telemark Films has made a film about tennis entitled ' Origins of the Game', which will be screened on the Tennis Channel� in the USA next week.�Because it traces the origins of the modern game of lawn tennis right back to Roman times, it spends quite a long time looking at how real tennis developed, and�how�lawn tennis evolved from it.�Bailey constructed a mediaeval 'jeu de paume' court in a film studio, which some of our American friends are playing on before it gets taken down. Haven Pell of Washington has kindly procured a copy of the film, which we have on DVD�in the T&RA Office, and�I will ask Bailey�how we can distribute the DVD within the UK.
