Vintage Dunlop Real Tennis Balls for Sale
Seacourt is offering Real Tennis enthusiasts the chance to purchase rare, limited edition vintage Dunlop balls. Proceeds will benefit the club’s Silver Racquet tournament.
Dunlop only made a small batch of these balls and legend has it that the release date unfortunately coincided with the sudden rise of lightweight racquets, which effectively rendered the balls unplayable (as they are too heavy for modern, lightweight racquets). As such, these balls are now considered collector’s items.
Seacourt has 50 Dunlop Real Tennis balls available for purchase in vintage condition commensurate with age. The balls are being offered at £15 each, with postage to be paid by buyer (in-person collection from Seacourt or Queen’s Club is also available). All proceeds will benefit the Silver Racquet tournament.
