The T&RA Invites Juniors to Try Real Tennis for Free This Summer!

Jul 01, 2026

Summer brings all kinds of activities, but the best way to beat the heat is to knock a few balls around on an indoor Real Tennis court.

Calling all junior athletes across the country: the T&RA and the Dedanists’ Foundation are sponsoring a scheme aimed at getting youngsters on court over this school holiday break.

We are offering newcomers between the ages of 10 and 18 a free, one-hour “have a go” session at the nearest Real Tennis club signed up to take part. Please share this news with anyone who has a child interested in athletics or trying a fun, new activity this summer.

There is a restriction on the number of free lessons we can provide so these sessions will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Please sign up here by 21 August 2026.

The Dedanists’ Foundation is a grant-giving charity (No. 1145526) created with the sole aim of increasing youth involvement in Real Tennis. The game has too few young players and the organisation’s aim is to get young people impassioned about the sport and to harness the enthusiasm, knowledge and skills of the game’s professionals and its clubs.
