World Amateur Masters 2026 Australia Dates and Details
The World Amateur Masters Championships - the International Team Events and the Individual Championships - will be held in Australia during 28 March to 11 April 2026. The International Team Events commence on 28 March 2026 at Ballarat, Hobart, or Sydney depending on age category. The Individual Championships will commence on 3 April 2026 and will be played in Melbourne.
International Team Events: 28-29 March Official Practice, Matches 29 March to 1 April 2026
- Cockram Trophy (over 50s) at Hobart Real Tennis Club
- Bostwick Cup (over 60s) at Ballarat Tennis Club
- Danby Trophy (over 70s) at Sydney Real Tennis Club
- Munoz Trophy (over 80s) at Sydney Real Tennis Club
Selection of each National Team is the responsibility of your National Association. Please register interest with your National Association. The team entry process will be managed by your National Association in conjunction with ARTA. It is anticipated that Team entries will commence in July and be completed by December 2025.
At each Team Event, there will be a Welcome function on 28 or 29 March 2026 and a Team Event Dinner on 1 April 2026. Further details, including information about the locales of each club and local off-court options including accommodation, will be provided during July-September 2025.
Individual Championships: 3 to 11 April 2026 at Royal Melbourne Tennis Club, Melbourne
The Individual Championships are open to those eligible by handicap and age category.
Individual Championships are played in Singles and Doubles for seven age categories: over 50s, over 55s, over 60s, over 65s, over 70s, over 75s, and over 80s.

Entry forms for both the Team and Individual Championships will be issued in July/August 2025.
Please email masters@realtennisaustralia.com.au to share your interest in playing in the Individual Championships and also if you may be interested in playing in a 2/3 day tournament in Melbourne before the Championships begin on 3 April.
Players and partners will be invited to attend a casual Welcome function at RMTC to start the Individual Championships, and the Presentation Dinner to be held on 11 April 2026 (at a distinguished venue requiring jacket and tie for men). There will also be a casual mid-tournament social event.
More information will be provided in June 2025 including a link to a dedicated World Masters 2026 Australia website to be set up by ARTA.
