Sep 19, 2026 - Sep 20, 2026 The Queen's Club E Shenkman

Published Jul 01, 2026

In the end the seeded players all advanced to the semi finals. Both semis were competitive, with India Deakin beating Laura Neill and Tara Lumley defeating Eve Shenkman, to proceed to the final. The final was best of 5, and a close fought affair. Tara almost took the second game, but India’s consistency and excellent serving saw her take the win 3-0.

The doubles entry was quite small with two semis on Saturday followed by a final on Sunday. Eve Shenkman & Laura Neill faced Alice Vyvyan-Robinson & Katherine Carney first off. There were lots of great rallies throughout, but seasoned pair Shenkman & Neill were too consistent and came through with the win. Next Tara Lumley & India Deakin played newcomer Dido Tetley & Honor Cockroft. Dido played particularly well, standing up to volley lots of shots. Despite this, the number one seeds Lumley & Deakin won comfortably. The final on Sunday was a close affair, but Lumley & Deakin took a 2-0 lead. However, in the third, Shenkman & Neill hit a purple patch of serve, taking the match to a fourth. In the final game Lumley & Deakin played fantastically to win 3-1.
