In the 40–44 handicap draw, fourth seed Wellington’s Mark Harris produced an excellent run of form to take the title. After a hard-fought three-set win over Jamie Tipple from Newmarket in the opening round, Mark continued to build momentum, defeating third seed Bridport's Nick Geere in the final in straight sets (6/4, 6/4). Nick had earlier come through a tight quarter-final against Chris Manson and a semi-final against Ben Geytenbeek, but he was unable to match Mark’s consistency in the final stage.

The 45–49 handicap competition saw second seed Gus Anthony from the Queen's Club emerge victorious. Gus progressed confidently through the draw, the only player not to drop a set, and finished with a composed final win over Wellington’s Ian Machin, who had earlier impressed by defeating top seed Clive Turner from Prested and Chris Marks from Falkland Palace... In the final, Gus proved too strong, securing the title with a 6/5, 6/1 victory.

Across both draws, the standard of play was high, with several closely contested three-set matches highlighting the depth of the field.
