All Comers 2022 Tournament Entry

Please email Jamie Giddins - jwegiddins@gmail.com if you would like to enter the All Comers tournament at Lords 18-20th March 2022.

The All Comers tournament is an amateur invitational real tennis tournament held at Lord's for those of handicaps of 20 or lower. The All Comers is a challenge competition to find out who will play, first against Jamie Douglas for the Silver Racquet and then Ed Kay for the Gold Racquet. The Silver and Gold Racquet are the oldest real tennis amateur tournaments in the world, formed in 1867 and have been won by almost all of the great amateur real tennis players.

The winner of the All Comers tournament will go on to organise the Silver Racquet match in April or May at Lord's with the Gold Racquet match played during the first test match of the summer at Lord's 2-6th June 2022.

The format of the All Comers is yet to be determined but will be played over 1, 2 or 3 days in a series of best of 3 matches depending on how many people enter.

Please email Jamie Giddins if interested jwegiddins@gmail.com - a small fee for tournament marking (around £25) will be collected on the day.

The matches are marked by the pros at Lords.

Deadline to enter is noon Saturday 5th March - and the draw will be done on Sunday 6th and sent out to all those playing.'
