Level Event Final: Luke Danby & Nigel Pendrigh beat Tom Shrager & Colin Sprott 3/6 6/1 6/5
This year the weekend comprised of two separate events – the level tournament and the handicap tournament. Thank you to the 15 pairs who participated across both events and created a really fun atmosphere at the club! Congratulations to the familiar Prested pair of Dan Parsley and Peter Awad who beat first-time partners John Lubbock (Radley) and Richard Foulds (Prested) to win the handicap event. The latter stages of the level event were full of drama! Luke Danby and Nigel Pendrigh edged past Peter Holmes and Simon Barker 8/7 in their semi-final. Danby and Pendrigh then came in clutch again, to win the final in a deciding set (3/6 6/1 6/5) against reigning champions Tom Shrager and Colin Sprott.
