Seacourt Silver Racquet 2025

The 2025 Seacourt Silver Racquet, sponsored by Peter Luck-Hille, saw 27 players from across the UK compete for the prestigious trophy. The qualifying draw saw the top 4 seeds progress to the main draw: Craig Greenhalgh, Luke Danby, Benedict Yorston & Tom Weaver.

A new format trialled for the tournament saw half-handicap differences played across the main draw, resulting in much closer 3-set matches. The semi-finals witnessed Lewis Williams take on Benedict Yorston, and 2024 winner Will Flynn up against Vaughan Hamilton. It was Lewis Williams and Will Flynn who came out on top to face each other in the final, with Lewis giving owe half 15. Concern arose for Will, who in his semi-final rolled his ankle and was visibly in pain. Despite this however, on a mixture of adrenaline and painkillers, Will was able to go on and win the trophy for a second year running.

The winner received the Silver Racquet trophy and a Grays racquet, and both finalists received a Duckworth Prestex watch.
