* U16 Handicap Doubles - The Dedanists Cup 2026

The handicaps worked out very well with many 5-5 all, 40 all’s in the group stages. The two pairs that made it all the way through were Leo Bauer & Joey Hammond Giles from RTC, and Holyport juniors, Charles Bartlett & Lawrence Gee. The pair from RTC kept their nerve and won the final 6-3.
Thanks go out to the Bristol Club for an excellent day and to Zak Eadle in particular, who marked every match. Lunch was supplied by Dan Brown, parent of one of the Bristol juniors taking part and Sarah Beale, the club’s Junior Coordinator.
The Dedanists’ Foundation sponsored the tournament, and the magnificent trophy was presented to Joey and Leo by the Director of Junior Tennis, Paul Weaver.
