CONGRATULATIONS to the GB team upon retaining the George Limb Trophy today. GB took a 3-1 lead from the first day's singles, with all matches played with good sportsmanship. All 4 doubles were close and hard-fought matches and played in great spirit, with the day ending at two matches apiece. Final result GB 5 Australia 3.
A great performance by the Australian team to win the Clothier Cup 7-1 against the USA. This is the first time Australia has won the cup in 20 years.
Finally, GB recapture the Van Alen, which the US have held since 2019, winning 8-0 against a very determined US team.
